- Client Land Securities
Land Securities were in need of a campaign and ‘brand’ to promote a select number of their shopping centre’s summer activities, based around the name of ‘hello summer’.
I created a childlike identity and illustrated unique graphic elements to represent summer (and yes, I even did a little rain cloud). These were applied to large format posters, centre POS, social media, online, press adverts and promotional literature. This proved to be so successful that more and more shopping centres bought into the campaign and rolled it out across their malls across the country. Some of which had unique activity-based custom illustrations… like a Spitfire (good old Sunderland Bridges). Large chain restaurants also bought into the idea and I subsequently created individual illustrations and literature for those too as part of the centre’s activity tie ins.
